Importing and exporting mailbox data in Exchange Server 2010 using the Request cmdlets

  1. Jose I Jimenez: Thanks for the help! great video and very explanatory.
  2. Charles Mills: Love this! Thanks for the Knowledge! Worked like a charm!
  3. Matt Hellwege: Oh I miss Lotus Notes
  4. Charles Mills: I have not heard that name since my last trip to the ninth plane of hell. Otherwise known as the IBM Boulder campus.
  5. Zachary Nelson: I tried this using this command in a 64 bit Exchange 2007 environment but it failed therefore after searching for a while I found a software named Stellar EDB to PST which easily transfers all the mailbox data to PST format without giving any annoying errors. You can check it out from here: https://www.stellarinfo.com/blog/exporting-multiple-exchange-mailboxes/
  6. raj kumar: great video. When i running this script, it through error. I have full permission including import-export, management.
  7. Tonguç Endem: I wonder if there is a special reason he created the share on another server. I mean why not just create it on the same server and still access it through the network share url, right?
  8. bicivelo: InterfaceTT. You are a rock Star! Top notch instruction!
  9. Robert Andrews: try to InQuit EDB to PST Recovery Software visit : https://www.inquitsoftware.com/
  10. Dominic Savio: Instead of showing all the setup and face - it would be been better if the screen was legible. Tough time getting the commands right. Pretty good and straight info anyways !
  11. Michael P.: You shoudl put the commands in here so newbies can copy/paste.
  12. bicivelo: I just hit pause
  13. Luisfelipe Carneiro: awesome
  14. David Coffman: off the wall question, I am trying to load a CSV file for users. but what is the command to have the user change their password on the next login? I did try the "Get-User -OrganizationalUnit James.local.net/test class -RecipientTypeDetails User" command. The ou exits on my domain controller but powershell keeps telling me that a parameter cannot be found that accepts argument "class". My goal is to input 20 users into my test domain under the " test class" ou were the users can change their password on next login. Having a powershell script to import the users in active directory to exchange is a bonus.
  15. Rob Savino: Worked great on a SBS2011 server. Nicely Done.
  16. Sebastian Antunez N.: Hello The video is very explanatory. I have a linux mail and migrated to Exchange 2013 and my users have their local pst file by year example: year2012.pst - year2013.pst etc... and I want them in exchange server and delete local computer, I can only copy the folder \\exchange\pst and then import your customer ms Outllook 2013?
  17. Felipe Gonzalez: Very Helpful Thank you!!!!!
  18. Nolak Bun SamPhors: if I export to PST from all users in a Group what name of output PST file should I input ? I refer to the command "  c:\>New-MailboxExportRequest -Mailbox GroupMail -FilePath \\nolak\pst\**** " what command should I replace with **** ?????
  19. jeolmo: Thank you for this awesome video...you omitted one detail which was causing issues for me - the shared folder cannot be on the Exchange server. Thanks!
  20. bigred1022: I did this on a 64-bit machine. And by the way, Microsoft can go f#$% itself for getting rid of Exmerge. It was so damn easy!
  21. molomosk123: did you do this from a 32bit or 64bit server? According to a ms tech net article these are the prerequisites to do this Export/Import to PST must be run from a 32 bit machine with Exchange Management Tools installed (Version Exchange 2007 SP1 or later). The 32bit requirement comes from a dependency with the Outlook client. Either Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2007 must be installed on the client machine. must be an Exchange Organization Admin or an Exchange Server Admin why not just use outlook.
  22. Joseph Hammontree: Doing things from a console would be more efficient, then logging in as someone's account and creating PST
